Location
The property is at 858 6th Avenue, Wilderness. Wilderness is a small village between a long surf beach and the Touw River, at the western end of the lakes district that runs on toward Sedgefield. The Garden Route National Park surrounds it, George and its airport are about fifteen minutes west, and Knysna is roughly forty-five minutes east.
Wilderness is on the N2 about fifteen minutes east of George, and George Airport is the nearest arrival point at roughly twenty minutes away. The Touw River, the lakes and the Garden Route National Park are all within walking or paddling distance of the village, and the Kingfisher and Giant Kingfisher trails start at Ebb and Flow. The beach runs unbroken for kilometres, Map of Africa looks down over the river mouth, and George Airport is about fifteen minutes away.

Availability, room types, rates and cancellation terms are set by the property and its booking provider, not by us. Wilderness is small and fills quickly over the December and January school holidays and at Easter, when rates peak and minimum stays are common. Rain falls through the year rather than in one season. Spring and autumn usually give the best balance of weather, availability and price.
