The Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel is a boutique hotel at 38 Long Street, Cape Town City Centre. It was previously known as the Hotel Metropole, which opened on this site in 1895.
Location
The City Bowl is the amphitheatre of streets held between Table Mountain, Signal Hill and Table Bay. It contains the Company’s Garden, the Bo-Kaap, the Long Street and Bree Street strips, the Castle of Good Hope and most of central Cape Town’s museums and offices. The lower station of the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is a short drive up Kloof Nek Road.

Exploring Cape Town from here
Central Cape Town works well on foot for the museums, the Company’s Garden and the restaurant streets. Beyond that, the Table Mountain cableway is roughly ten minutes away by car, the V&A Waterfront and the Robben Island ferry quay about five, and the beaches of the Atlantic Seaboard and Camps Bay fifteen to twenty over Kloof Nek.
