Location
Constantia and the leafy Southern Suburbs lie on the eastern slopes of the mountain chain, about twenty minutes from the city centre. This is the oldest wine-growing area in South Africa, with Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia and Buitenverwachting within a few kilometres of each other, and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on the Newlands side of the valley.

The Constantia wine estates and Kirstenbosch are the immediate draw, and the Southern Suburbs shopping and restaurant streets are a few minutes away. The City Bowl is around twenty minutes by car, Hout Bay about fifteen over Constantia Nek, and the False Bay coast roughly twenty-five minutes south.

Availability, room types, rates and cancellation terms are set by the property and its booking provider, not by us. Cape Town’s high season runs from December to February, when the coastal and Waterfront properties fill earliest and rates peak; the quieter months from May to August usually carry the lowest rates, and the weather is at its wettest.
