The coastal railway line links Muizenberg, St James, Kalk Bay and Fish Hoek. Simon’s Town and the Boulders penguin colony are a short drive south, Cape Point around forty minutes, and the City Bowl roughly forty minutes north via the M3. Constantia and its wine estates are about twenty-five minutes away.

Cape Town’s high season runs from December to February, when the coastal and Waterfront properties fill earliest and rates peak; the quieter months from May to August usually carry the lowest rates, and the weather is at its wettest.
