Cape Town Lodge Hotel is a city-centre hotel at 101 Buitengracht Street, on the western edge of the Cape Town City Bowl. Despite the “Lodge” in its name it is a conventional multi-storey hotel, and it describes itself as four-star on its own site.
Location
Buitengracht Street is the wide road that separates the city centre from the Bo-Kaap, running from the Foreshore up towards Kloof Nek. Bree Street and Long Street — the two streets that carry most of the centre’s restaurants and bars — are a block or two east, and the painted houses of the Bo-Kaap begin across the road.

Buitengracht runs uphill into Kloof Nek Road, which climbs to the Table Mountain cableway and then drops to Camps Bay; downhill it feeds the Foreshore and the V&A Waterfront.
