Camps Bay sits between the Twelve Apostles ridge and a wide white beach on the Atlantic, roughly ten minutes over Kloof Nek from the City Bowl. Victoria Road runs the length of the beachfront strip of restaurants and bars and continues south through Bakoven and Oudekraal towards Llandudno and Hout Bay.

The beach and the Victoria Road restaurants are the immediate draw. The Table Mountain cableway is about ten minutes away over Kloof Nek, the City Bowl and V&A Waterfront fifteen to twenty, and Hout Bay around twenty minutes south along the coast road.
